4 Laser Guide Star Facility Optical Tube Assembly

Thermal design and analysis of the a-thermal Optical Tube Assembly (OTA) of worlds best 4 Laser Guide Star Facility (4LGSF) operating now on the Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Paranal, Chili. They create with the use of 4x25W lasers four artificial stars at an altitude of 90 km in the field of view of the 8.2m diameter adaptive mirror, which can use these stars to correct for atmospheric disturbances.
